Brand new single from Katy Perry “California Gurls” featuring Snoop Dogg.The song is produced by Dr. Luke, Max Martin, and Benny Blanco and according to Katy Perry, the song is LA’s answer to Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ ode to New York “Empire State of Mind”. The melody sounds alot like Calvin Harris’ 2008 hit “I’m Not Alone” and like Calvins #1 will probably do well over here. Shame that we haven’t had something to celebrate London since Scott Garcia’s old school hit “It’s A London Thing”, Fergie’s “London Bridge” doesn’t count (she featured the wrong bridge in the video).
