Here’s a new verse from Lil Wayne rapping on “Light Up” which is a song from Drake’s debut album,
Thank Me Later, which is released next week on
Amazon.co.uk. The album version features Jay-Z, but this is a verse that Weezy had written while incarcerated on Rikers Island. Drake called this, “
one of the most incredible Lil Wayne verses I have ever heard,” and I’d have to agree. Hopefully we can get a better quality version of this, but for now here’s the telephone recorded version.
