London-based artist MARNEY keeps it classy on her breakup song, “Good Man”. “It’s a break up song, but I didn’t want it to be hateful or anything other than sad and true,” she explains. “I wanted to be honest about what a break up is when you still think someone is good,” she says.
Both this and her debut single, “California”, were written during the a trip to LA, that the latter song is about. I suspect that she’ll be more productive again now that travel restrictions are beginning to be lifted around the world. “Good Man” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
