Alternative R&B/Funk artist, Kalisway celebrates her birthday by revealing the ChopNotSlop remix of her Special K EP. The EP was originally released late last year and now it gets a Chopped and Screwed remix courtesy of Houston’s very own DJ Candlestick.
Chopped and Screwed is a Hip Hop sub genre that was developed by the late DJ Screw in the early 90s. It breathes new life into songs and allows you to appreciate the music in a different light.
Kalisway’s funky six track EP sounds great like this, I hope that Kalisway does this for all of her projects. Kalisway’s Special K (ChopNotSlop Remix) EP is out now on Apple Music and Spotify, you can listen to it in full below.
