Icelandic rock band KALEO share a jaw dropping video of their new single “Skinny”. They shot the music video in front of Falgradalsfjall last month while it was erupting. The volcano has since made headlines around the world as it had been dormant for nearly 800 years.
“It was an amazing and surreal experience to film and record this video,” frontman, JJ Julius Son reflects. “It was very challenging and required a difficult hike, carrying the equipment with our bare hands,” he adds. “We filmed it during the night, so fortunately there weren’t many people there.”
You’d be hard pushed to find a better set for a music video than this – wow. “Skinny” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
