Holly Macve is an alt-country singer who brings us an interesting twist on the genre. Her new single follows on the heels of her recently announced new album, Not The Girl, which will be released on May 14th via Modern Sky. “It was a few years back when I was on tour in Austin, Texas that I got the call to say my Dad had passed away,” reveals Holly. The Brighton-based artist felt a mix of emotions when she heard the news. “It took me a while to understand how I felt but eventually it came out in this song,” she says. “Daddy’s Gone” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
