Flatbush Zombies’ Erick the Architect releases his debut solo EP, Future Proof. The title is quite appropriate because the five song EP is good and should stand the test of time. It’s socially conscious Hip Hop that takes a clear inspiration from Soul music. This is perhaps best personified on what are probably the EP’s standout tracks, “WTF” (featuing Col3trane) and “Selfish” (featuring Pip Millett).Two song exploring themes that were very prevelant last year: social justice, police brutality and racism.
