South London Grime MC, P Money released his While We Wait EP on Friday. I’ve been listening to it since then but have only today been able to get past the first track, “Bumbaclart Riddim”. It’s so good, P Money and Mez team up perfectly on the Dancehall inspired track which Mez produced. I’ve basically had on repeat the whole weekend, it’s going to sound great when live events can resume again. P Money opens up about a cancer scare on the introspective “Is Someone There” and shows his viscous, savage side on “Pagans Everywhere”. This is a short but conscise project that really hits the mark and is proof (if anyone needed it) that Grime is still alive and well.
