Emmrose has just released her debut project, the EP which is titled Hopeless Romantics. It is a deeply personal collection of songs that reflect on love, heartbreak, and finding happiness. Some have compared her to Florence & the Machine and Lana Del Ray and upon hearing her music I can see why. There are similarities to the artists in the mood of her songs and the way that she sings but she is very much her own artist. The scary thing is that she is just in her late teens and she only began writing, recording and performing her music a couple of years ago.
