Brooklyn duo MY BODY (Jordan Bagnall and Darren Bridenbeck’s) brand of Pop is the most exciting kind; music that is not too safe. The band mix rhythms and sounds that are not often heard together to create a unique brand of pop. To call it experimental would not be giving the duo enough credit, but much of the production could well be classified within the Bass Music spectrum. “All I Can” and “Make It Good” – the EP’s opening tracks are the obvious highlights, which could easily occupy a place on any daytime playlist. But even one listen of the rest of the EP is enough to make MY BODY’s incredible song writing ability clear. Having listened to the 6 Wives EP repeatedly and still not being tired of it, I can understand why MY BODY call the EP what they did.
