Drake – Certified Lover Boy (Album)

Drake has today released his long awaited sixth studio album, Certified Lover Boy. The project was originally scheduled to be released in 2020 but was delayed to a number of complications. It’s his first studio album in three years, since his 2018 multi platinum double album Scorpion.

Certified Lover Boy‘s release comes in the midst of a fume with Kanye West which seems to have heightened in recent weeks. Kanye had been making efforts to try and release his album on the same day as Drake’s and had recently leaked Drake’s address.

Although Drake laughed that off, literally, he seems more bothered by Kanye’s antics than he initially let on. He describes the album as being, “a combination of toxic masculinity and acceptance of truth which is inevitably heartbreaking.”

Certified Lover Boy is stacked with features including Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Future, Kid Cudi, Lil Baby, Lil Durk and Giveon. The album is out now on Apple Music and Spotify, you can listen to it in full below.
