emawk is the moniker of Boston-born, Kenyan raised, New York-based artist Kwame Nkrumah. Today he shares the first release of his forthcoming audiovisual project which will see him release new tracks and corresponding videos throughout 2021. “HIGHROAD” is a carefree and soul track which has a cool, self-shot video featuring emawk and his friends.
He has also shared as second track, “BEADS”, which is equally joyous but alot more chilled. “My favorite thing about both highroad and beads is that neither one of them started off with me overthinking,” says emawk. and neither one of them was about spending forever looking for the right words.” You can check them both out below.
