Shakira - Loca feat. Dizzee Rascal (Video)

Shakira's long awaited collaboration with Dizzee Rascal, "Loca" is finally here. It has the familiar Shakira sound, bate trademark dance move and a touch of Dizzee. This really needs a Funky House/ UK Funky remix-Lil Silva/Hard House Banton where you at? Video directed by Jaume de Laiguana and Dizzee Rascal.

"Loca" is taken from Shakira's new album Sale el Sol which will be released later this year. No word on when the single will be released as of yet.

Kelis - Scream (Video)

Anybody that has been following Kelis over the last few years can see that she is clearly one of the big inspirations behind Stephanie Germanotta Lady Gaga. Alot of what she has done was before its time, I'll be the first to admit that "Accapella" took a while to grow on me but now I love it. Kelis's latest album Flesh Tone is easily a contender for album of the year.

"Scream" is taken from Kelis's latest album Flesh Tone and is available to download now from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk

Duck Sauce (A-Trak & Armand Van Helden) – Barbra Streisand (Video)

DJ A-Trak and Armand Van Helden AKA Duck Sauce are back with "Barbara Streisand", the follow up to their massive hit "aNYway". There's a whole heap of famous faces in the video, too many to llist. Video directed by So Me.

"Barbra Streisand" is available to download now on iTunes and Amazon.co.uk.

Sway - Intoxicated feat. Richie (Video)

Apparently "Intoxicated", Sway's new single with fellow Ghanian musician Richie, is big in Ghana and it could should be big over here. The video must have been shot a while ago because Sway still has his braids

Not sure when it will be released, stay posted for more.

Tinchy Stryder - III EP

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly - The Uprising (Video)

What a funny few months it's been for Adrian Charles, he went from unwanted BBC Presenter to getting a job at ITV, getting a nomination for his new show just two weeks after it first aired and now he's in a music video! I wonder if Adrian actually was singing or whether he was just lip syncing!

"The Uprising" is taken from Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly's new self titled album which also features "Collapsing Cities" and is available to download now from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk.

Tinie Tempah feat. Ellie Goulding - Wonderman (Radio Rip)

After saying how much they enjoyed each others music, it comes as no surprise that Tinie Tempah and Ellie Goulding have collaborated and "Wonderman" is the result. "Wonderman" sounds like Rock music mixed with Drum & Bass with a Pop twist. A welcome departure from the sound of Tinie's previous singles--variety is good!

"Wonderman" will feature on Tinie Tempah's debut album Disc-Overy which is released on 4th Otcober and available to Pre-Order now on iTunes and Amazon.co.uk.

The Drums - Down By The Water (Video)

Here's something a little different from The Drums. "Down By The Water" sounds like an 80's pop song, had I heard the song and not known the artist I'd be surprised that it's by an Indie band. The video plays on this notion with the dance routines to the set. Video directed by Surround, Brian Palmer, Brad Palmer and The Drums.

"Down By The Water" is taken from The Drums's self titled album and is available to download from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk now.

Tinchy Stryder - Second Chance feat Taio Cruz (Video)

Tinchy Stryder's back with his new single, "Second Chance" the follow up to "In My System". It follows on from the success of Tinchy Stryder and Taio Cruz's top 5 hit "Take Me Back". Plain and simply this is a winner, there's no denying.

"Second Chance" is taken from Cloud 9 Stydes'sTinchy's new album Third Strike is released on 29th November and is available to Pre-Order from Amazon.co.uk now!

Newham Generals - Bag of Grease feat Skepta

Good to see these three link up for the newest track to be taken from the Newham Generals new Bag of Grease EP

"took my Grime flow and went Pop with it" - Skepta

"Bag of Grease" is released on 3rd October and available to Pre-Order from iTunes now!

Nicki Minaj - Right Thru Me

Not sure why "Right Thru Me"  is being billed as the "first" single from Barbie's Nicki Minaj's debut album, Pink Friday. What was "Your Love" and are we supposed to just forget "Massive Attack"? "Right Thru Me" follows in the same vain as "Your Love", which is a contrast for what she is known for. Wonder if she'll have another single that features the punchlines, voices and flow she is known for..

Kanye West - So Appalled feat RZA, Jay-Z, Pusha T, Swizz Beatz & Cyhi Da Prynce

So it took a while to arrive but here it is, "So Appalled", the newest track to be released from Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Friday initiative. Jay-Z killed his verse. Damn it's good to hear Pusha T rhyming on the same track as Jay-Z and Kanye, it's long over waited. Shame RZA didn't get a proper verse, that would have made this something epic.

Akala - Yours and My Children (HD Video)

This one's all about the lyrics, Akala goes in. Definitely one of the best tracks on his album, Double Think. Funny that the video was shot in Brazil because that's just where I imagined it being shot when I first heard the track.

"Yours and My Children" is taken from Akala's latest album Double Think and is available to download now from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk.

Bombay Bicycle Club - Rinse Me Down (Video)

Love the way that the video is shot in the same style as previous videos for "Flaws" and "Ivy & Gold". Nicely directed by David A. Tree.

"Rinse Me Down" is taken from Bombay Bicycle Club's excellent new album Flaws and is available to download from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk now.

Eliza Doolittle - Rollerblades (HD Video)

Seems Eliza missed the summer with this cheery little number. Unfortunetly the British summer is most vivid in memory until next year.

"Rollerblades" is taken from Eliza Doolittle's self titled debut album which also features her previous hits "Pack Up" and "Skinny Genes". "Rollerblades" is available to download now from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk.

Sleigh Bells - Infinity Guitars (HD Video)

It rarely happens, but this is one of those occasions when the visuals for a song bring the song to life. "Infinity Guitars" starts off heavy, but and gets more intense than you would expect it to towards the end-what a nice surprise. Sleigh Bells are amazing, still not happy at the fact I missed their gig in London in the summer-hope  you'll be back soon guys! Video directed by Phil Pinto.

"Infinity Guitars" is taken from Sleigh Bells' new album Treats and is available to download now from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk today!

Tinchy Stryder - Champions feat Ruff Sqwad

Tinchy Stryder's been busy of late, not only has he been collaborating with Labrinth and Devlin but he's also joined old pals Ruff Sqwad on "Champions". Enjoy the sound of Tinchy over a Grime beat, because it doesnt happen often!

"Champions" is taken from Tinchy's forthcoming III EP and is produced by Rapid.

Labrinth - Up In Flames feat Devlin & Tinchy Stryder

OH. MY. GOSH! This is probably the best song I've heard this month and up there with the best I've heard this year. "Up In Flames" is crazy. Labrinth, the producer behind Tinie Tempa's recent hits "Frisky" and "Pass Out" brings two of Grime's best, Tinchy Stryder and Devlin, together on one track. When you add this song to his hits, it's no surprise the song has the name it does.

When this comes on in the club, it's gonna be moesh.

Tenny Ten, Wrigz, Lady Leshurr and Malik - No Hats No Trainers Cypher 4 (HD Video)

This edition of the No Hats No Trainers Cypher series features Tenny Ten, Wrigz, Lady Leshurr and Malik. The standout MC here is clear; Lady Leshur. Her flow's on point and the Fabregas line was nice.

Monday, 20 September 2010

The Saturdays - Higher (VIdeo)

Guess I was wrong to assume that just because The Saturdays flew over to America to shoot their new video for  "Higher" that the video would be for the Flo-Rida version of "Higher". It would make sense to me to feature him in the video at least if I was going all that way and had done a song with him!

"Higher" is taken from The Saturays' new album Headlines and is available to download now from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk.

If you want the version featuring Flo-rida then you'll have to wait until 1st November.

Cheryl Cole - Promise This (Video)

Boy that was quick! After premiering her new single "Promise This" last week, Cheryl Cole's back with her new video to accompany the song. I still think that it's not one of her strongest songs and will not be surprised should this top the charts when released. Has anybody managed to figure out what she's saying after she sings "kiss my lips"?

"Promise This" is the first single from Cheryl Cole's new album Messy Little Raindrops and is released on 25th October.

Lay-Z, Frisco & Jammer - Face Off (HD Video)

This is more like the Frisco that we've come to know! Frisco, Lay-Z and Jammer go in on this beat and it's reminiscent of one of Back 2 Da Lab 2's classics "Teamwork". Video directed by Morgan Keyz, who's also going in with the video work at the moment.

Professor Green - Monster feat Example (HD Video)

Not only is Professor Green's career more healthy than ever; he's notched up two UK Top Ten hits ("I Need You Tonight" and "Just Be Good To Green" and his album Alive Till I'm Dead peaked at number 2 in the UK charts. "Monster" is the latest single to be taken from the album and features fellow UK rapper Example. The video reminds me of The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus...if you've seen the film you'll know what I mean.

"Monster" is taken from Professor Green's new album Alive Till I'm Dead and is available to download now from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk now!

Video: Pendulum - The Island, Part 1 (Dawn)

Pendulum take a break from the craziness that is Drum & Bass and revert to some good old House for their new single, "The Island, Part 1". In case you're wondering there is a Part2 of the song which can be found on their album Immersion.

"The Island, Part 1" is taken from Pendulum's new album Immersion and is available to download now from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk.

Frisco - Bringing It Home feat McLean (Video)

Here's what appears to be the first track to be taken from Frisco's highly anticipated d├ębut album, Fully Grown.  Gotta say that I am one of the people that was and still is looking forward to hearing the album, but I had expected more from "Bringing It Home". I expected better after hearing what Frisco could do to beats and getting a taste of his songwriting ability on The Back To Da Lab series of mixtapes. Maybe I'm just being too critical?..

Frisco's debut album Fully Grown is released on 11th October and is available to Pre-Order from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk now!

Maroon 5 - Give A Little More (Video)

"Give A Little More" is the new song from Maroon 5 and taken from their new album Hands All Over. It follows the boys' previous single "Misery" and is the second single to be taken from the album. Am not really a big Maroon 5 fan, but none of these songs are as good as "This Love" or "She Will Be Loved".

"Give A Little More" is available to download now from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk.

Saturday, 18 September 2010

Enrique Iglesias - Heartbeat ft. Nicole Scherzinger (Video)

Not sure how many duets Enrique Iglesias has done but he's definitely done alot. His newest song "Heartbeat" features former Pussy Cat Doll, Nicole Scherzinger. A good House track, not sure who produced the beat I think it was RedOne-who ever it was did a good job.

UPDATE: "Heartbeat" was infact produced by Mark Taylor

"Heartbeat" is taken from Enrique Iglesias's new album Euphoria and is available to download now from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk

Kelly Rowland - Forever & A Day (Video)

Just a few days after releasing her latest video, Kelly Rowland is back with her new single "Forever & A Day". It's almost as if Kelly was listening to what I was saying about the need for her to make for House music with Guetta. This is more like it Kelly!

"Forever & A Day" follows on from the success of "Commander" (in the UK charts) and the word is that both songs will only feature on the 'international' version of her as yet untitled new album. So we probably will not get "Rose Colored Glasses" released in the UK.

Baby Blue - Double Up feat Sean Starr

Baby Blue is back with "Double Up" her follow up to Wretch 32 assisted "Run". Both "Run" and "Double Up" were produced by Nutty P and here he has come up with an interesting beat that sounds like Grime with a touch of Dubstep-nice..

No idea on when this will be released but stay posted for more info.

Kanye West ft. Mos Def, Swizz Beatz, Raekwon & Charlie Wilson – Lord Lord Lord

WOW, what a lineup, what a song. Who is making better music than Kanye at the moment? Kanye West's newest song from his GOOD Friday initiative is "Lord Lord Lord", a collaboration with Mos Def, Swizz Beatz, Rekwon and Charlie Wilson. As Swizz Beatz says on the song, "This is something special."

Twista feat. Chris Brown - Make A Movie (HD Video)

Twista seemed to have been blown away after the success of his 2004 album Kamikaze, he struggled to replicate the hits that were on what his biggest selling album to date. But now its looks like Twista could have another taste of that success with his new single "Make A Movie" featuring Chris Brown. The beat allows Twista to showcase his trademark flow and Chris Brown adds a much needed presence helping to lift the song. Definitely one for the midnight hour. Video directed by Colin Tilley.

Plan B - The Recluse (HD Video)

I was excited at the thought that Plan B's new album The Ballad of Belmarsh was nearer to being released when I started watching this. Unfortunetly this is not the first song from Plan B's new album, "The Recluse" is taken from Plan B's platinum selling album The Defamation Of Strickland Banks. It's a good song, don't get me wrong. I just want to hear The Ballad of Belmarsh.

"The Recluse" is available to download now from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk.

HD Video: Labrinth - Let The Sunshine (Acoustic)

Labrinth gave an acoustic performance of his new single "Let The Sun Shine" for SB.TV's A64 series. These acoustic performances are normally better than the commercial version of the song, but that isn't the case with "Let The Sun Shine" as the acoustic version isn't a good as the normal version. Not saying it's a bad song, just saying that it's one of those songs that is best enjoyed with a beat.

"Let The Sun Shine" is released on 24th September and is available to Pre-Order from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk now!

Roll Deep - Take Control feat. Alesha Dixon

Woii, Alesha Dixon has linked up with Roll Deep for their new single "Take Control" and it's a winner! It's good to hear Alesha on this kinda beat, it's the Alesha that's been missing since Mis-Teeq split. Roll Deep have got themselves another certified hit with this one. "Take Control" follows "Green Light" and their first UK Number 1 "Good Times". Judging by these songs their album, The Winner Stays On is gonna be BIG.

"Take Control" is taken from The Winner Stays On and released on 31st October and is available to Pre-Order from Amazon.co.uk.

Thursday, 16 September 2010

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly - Collapsing Cities feat. Shy FX (HD Video)

Definetly one of the standout tracks from Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly's new self titled album is his collaboration with Shy FX, "Collapsing Cities". The song is like a blend of Indie Rock and Drum & Bass and is not too heavy/full on for the casual Drum & Bass listener like me. These one shot videos must take ages to shoot, can you imagine the amount of takes required to get it right? Video directed by Luke Snellin.

"Collapsing Cities" is available to download now from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk.

The Saturdays - Higher featuring Flo Rida

Seems Flo Rida has made a big splash this side of the pond, not only was he featured on UK X Factor winner Alexandra Burke's UK Number 1 "Bad Boys" but he has now done a song with The Saturdays. Maybe his magic will rub off on the girls and get them their first number 1...

"Higher" is taken from The Saturdays' new album Headlines! and is available to download now from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk. However, the version featuring Flo Rida is not available on the album and is not released until November 1st.

Marvell - We Know (Video)

"We Know" is the not just the brand new single from The Marvell boys, it is in fact their debut single. After all the mixtapes, freestyle verses and radio sets it seems its time for the Marvell album. Would have been good to get the Flow Farda Double S spitting on the last verse of "We Know"rather than singing, guess we'll just have to wait 'till the next single for that.

"We Know" is released on 10th October.

Princess Nyah - Take Control

Princess Nyah shows her versatility with her new single "Take Control", which is more of Rap/R&B song as opposed to being a Funky House banger which is what Nyah normally makes. "Take Control" was produced by Ill Blu as were "Butterflies", "Hooligans", "Frontline" and "Big Boys".

No idea on a release date for this..

Lil Wayne - I'm Not A Human Being (Video)

Ahhh, good old 'Mixtape Weezy'--the Lil Wayne that we all know and love! I'm sure that I've heard this before, probably on a mixtape. The visuals for this don't do the song any justice, they are poor. Shame that Weezy actually paid someone to direct this. Anyways, "I'm Not A Human Being" is the first song from Lil Wayne's forthcoming project of the same name. Let's just hope that the next singles bring us better quality videos.

Kelly Rowland - Rose Colored Glasses (HD Video)

"Rose Coloured Glasses" is the new single from Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland. It follows her David Guetta produced single "Commander". Although it's good to hear Kelly return to her R&B roots, she sounds so much better on David Guetta produced House music.

No word on a release date for "Rose Colored Glasses", it may even not be released in Europe. Keep checking the blog to stay posted for more.

Cheryl Cole - Promise This (Radio Rip)

CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 21: Singer Cheryl Cole attends the 'Outside Of The Law' Premiere at the Palais des Festivals during the 63rd Annual Cannes Film Festival on May 21, 2010 in Cannes, France. (Photo by Michael Buckner/Getty Images)

Cheryl Cole played her new single "Promise This" on the Chris Moyles show earlier this week. "Promise This" is the first song from Cheryl's new album Messy Little Raindrops, which will be released in November. When compared to the singles on her first album, this is just not as good. But I don't think that even matters for some people, they'll still buy it just because of who's singing it..

Florence And The Machine - Heavy In Your Arms (Video)

Fresh from her standout performance at the 2010 VMA Awards Florence + The Machine is back with her new single "Heavy In Your Arms". The song is taken from the Twilight movie soundtrack and not being a fan of the film franchise it's no surprise that I'm not feeling the video. "Heavy In Your Arms" is far from being one of Florence Welch's best songs, but the standards are high I guess.

"Heavy In Your Arms" is taken from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack and is available to download now from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk

Kanye West feat. Pusha T – Runaway (CDQ)

LOS ANGELES, CA - SEPTEMBER 12: Kanye West performs onstage during the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards at NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on September 12, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Kevin Winter/Getty Images)
Kanye West performed his new single featuring his new signee Pusha T of The Clipse, at the MTV VMA Awards 2010. Many say that it was the highlight of the night, but while it was good Florence + The Machine stole the show for me--guess that I am in the minority. I am led to believe that "Runaway" is some kind of apology for his walk on interruption at the 2009 MTV VMA Awards when Taylor Swift was accepting her award.

Jennifer Lopez Ft Rick Ross & The Dream - Run The World

June 14, 2010 - New York, New York, U.S. - JENNIFER LOPEZ arriving at the Apollo Theater's Spring 2010 Benefit Concert & Awards Ceremony at The Apollo Theater in New York City on 06-14-2010. 2010..K65175HMc. © Red Carpet Pictures

All I needed was a reason so I could post a J.Lo pick! Jennifer Lopez is back with the help of Rick Ross-The Bawse and The Dream. Will be interesting to see if she can once again conquer the world after poor album sales of her last album. Guess having Ricky Rozay and the Radio Killer on board can only help her cause..

Shani Cuppcake - Take it Low (Video)

I haven't been to a Funky House dance in a while, but even I can know that if you have been then you are bound to have heard Shani Cuppcake's new single "Take It Low". The Ill Blu produced track is the follow up to Shani 's previous track with the duo "Say Yes". Quite a few cameos in this video, can you spot 'em all?

Sway - Nelson Lives (Video)

A reminder that us Brits can rap and we do make Hip Hop music for those that didn't know! This one's all about the lyrics. Sway's good at these dedication tracks, his Michael Jackson tribute "The King Full Stop" was heavy aswell.

JoJo - In the Dark (HD Video)

I didn't even know that JoJo was still making music, like many I remember her from her debut single "Leave (Get Out)". Well now JoJo's back with a new single taken from her new mixtape Can't Take That Away From Me-Yes you read right; mixtape! It's not just JoJo that has matured, her music also seems to have matured judging by "In The Dark". Not bad for Free music!

"In The Dark" is taken from JoJo's new mixtape Can't Take That Away From Me which can be downloaded for FREE from rap-up.bandcamp.com courtesy of Rap Up.

Jammer - Max Not Minimum (HD Video)

There were quite a few good tracks on Jammer's debut album Jahmanji and "Max Not Minimum" probably wasn't inside those that I'd say were my favourites. Let's hope that "Bad Mind People" or "Back To The 90's" is next. Video directed by Mikestar.

"Max Not Minimum" is taken from Jammer's debut album Jahmanji and is available to download from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk now!

Saturday, 11 September 2010

Devlin - Runaway feat Yasmin (HD Video)

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Devlin's music seems to be getting better and better, with this being his strongest single yet. As an MC known for his lyrical content and complex flows, it is good that both are still present in what is a song destined for chart success. I've been looking forward to Bud, Sweat & Beers for a while now so it's good to know that we're not far from it being released.

"Runaway" is taken from Devlin's debut album Bud, Sweat & Beers which is released on 1st November and can be Pre-Ordered from Amazon.co.uk.

Seal - Secret (Video)

Easily the best piece of music that you are going to hear this week. Seal's new single "Secret" is a return to form for the soul singer who hasn't released any original music since 2007. Glad to see Seal back with some good quality music.

"Secret" is the first single from Seal's new album Commitment and is available to download now from Amazon.co.uk.

Kylie Minogue - Get Outta My Way (Video)

Kylie Mongue is back with the follow up to her UK Top 5 hit "All The Lovers", with her new single "Get Outta My Way". It's not as good as "All The Lovers", but that was a grower so this may grow on me to.

"Get Outta My Way" is taken from Kylie Minogue's new album Aphrodite and is available to download now from iTunes and Amazon.co.uk.

The Ting Tings - Hands (Video)

Upon hearing The Tings' debut album We Started Nothing, I was immediately impressed with the number of good-single worthy songs they had managed to fit onto just one album. I doubted whether they could follow up their debut with an equally good second album. The first single to be taken from The Ting Tings' new album kunst is "Hands" and seems to justify my doubts. It simply doesn't match any of the classics that came from their debut album.

"Hands" released on 10th October and is available to Pre-Order now from iTunes now.

Kanye West feat. Common, Pusha T, KiD CuDi, Big Sean & Charlie Wilson – G.O.O.D. Friday

Kanye's latest release under his Good Friday initiative has a stella cast featuring Kanye West, Common, Pusha T and Kid Cudi all one track. Having all of these artists on the same track is BIG and don't forget that they are all on Kanye's G.O.O.D. Music record label (hence the name). It's notable that "G.O.O.D. Friday" has a similar sound to the College Dropout Yeezy.

Friday, 10 September 2010

Joell Ortiz – Farewell Summer (EP)

Easily one of the best lyricists within Hip Hop, Joell Ortiz is back with a new mixtape to say Farewell Summer. With production from the likes of DJ Premier, Don Cannon and Statik Selectah this is a definite download. As always the Slaughterhouse member has the right mix of heavy beats, punch lines and flows.

Gucci Mane & DJ Drama – Ferrari Music (Mixtape)

After only recently dropping Mr Zone 6, Gucci Mane is back with another DJ Drama assisted mixtape. Featured artists include Wacka Flocka Flame, Cam'ron, Vado, Chris Brown and Trina. Just hope with all these mixtapes that Gucci hasn't put his best music out for free instead of saving it for his album, The Appeal.

N-Dubz - Best Behaviour (Video)

Say what you want about N-Dubz but they've definitely come along way since "I swear"-two platinum albums, number one's and a deal with Def Jam later they're back with a new single. "Best Behaviour" is the first single from their as yet untitled album and is pretty much a feel good-radio friendly-swon song. Americans take note, with Def Jam on board this will be the next 'Urban' act to hit your shores from the UK.

"Best Behaviour" is released on 17th October.

Tinchy Stryder feat Taio Cruz - Second Chance

After collaborating for Tinchy Styrder's top 3 hit "Take Me Back", Tinchy and Taio Cruz are back with a new song "Second Chance". The song has a similar sound to "Take Me Back"-I guess there's no reason to change the formula if it's workin. Although "Second Chance" isn't as strong as previous single "In My System", I still wouldn't be surprised should this chart within the top 10.

Tinchy Stryder's new album Third Strike is released on 29th November and is available to Pre-Order from Amazon.co.uk now!

Wednesday, 8 September 2010

Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are (HD Video)

How many good songs can this guy keep making? Bruno Mars is back with his new single "Just The Way You Are" which which is the latest song to be taken from his debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans. "Just The Way You Are" follows Bruno's previous single "The Other Side" and is further proof that Bruno is not just a guy to make your song a hit a chorus singer, he's a singer-songwriter in his own right.

"Just The Way You Are" isn't even released yet and there are already tons of tribute versions on sale. Guess that's an indication that Bruno's got another hit on his hands.

Freddie Gibbs - Oil Money feat Chuck Inglish, Chip Tha Ripper, Bun B & Dan Auerbach (HD Video)

Freddie Gibbs enlists some help from a star studded line which features Chuck Inglish (of The Cool Kids), Chip Tha Ripper, Bun B & Dan Auerbach (of Black Keys). I've not heard much music from Freddie Gibbs but gotta say "Oil Money" rocks. Just gotta try and get my hands on a Chopped N Screwed version! Video directed by Dickford Dallas.

Kings of Leon - Radioactive (Video)

It's good to have the Kings of Leon back! Admittedly, I only really started listening to them when I heard "Sex on Fire", but have been into their music ever since then. The boys are back with a new album, Come Around Sundown, which will be released on 18th October. This follows their brilliant #1 album Only By The Night.

"Radioactive" is released on 10th September and is available to Pre-order from Amazon.co.uk now!

Kool G Rap – Sad

Kool G Rap, one of Hip Hop's hardest rappers,  is back with his new single "Sad" which is taken from his new album Riches Royalty Respect. Good to see a legend still going strong. This song is HARD.

Dot Rotten - Def Jam Rapstar Vignette (HD Video)

Dot Rotten laid down a verse to promote what appears to be Def Jam's new video game Def Jam Rapstar. As I've said before new music from Dot Rotten is always welcome, so thank you sir! Filmed by Ricky Mundo.

Ne-Yo - One In A Million (HD Video)

Ne-Yo's new single "One In A Million" isn't nearly as good as his previous single "Champagne Life". The video follows on from where "Champagne Life" and "Beautiful Monster" left off and is taken from Ne-Yo's new album Libra Scale.Seems like all the video's from Libra Scale will feature dance routines and some sort of sorcery, judging by the videos so far.

Can't help but think of Truth Hurts' Dr. Dre produced and Rakim featuring classic "Addictive" when I listen to this song.

Wiz Khalifa - In The Cut (HD Video)

"In The Cut" is the latest track to be taken from Wiz Khalifa's Kush & Orange Juice Mixtape. The first to be released since Wiz turned down an offer to go on your with Drake and turned down the opportunity to get signed under Rick Ross's Maybach Music record label. Big Boi - You Ain't No DJ feat. Yelawolf (Video)

Yelawolf is an artist that I'm still making my mind up about. I admire his originality but am getting to grips with his style. One things for sure though Big Boi's back with another banger in "You Ain't No DJ". Video directed by Parris.

"You Ain't No DJ" is taken from Big Boi's latest album Sir Luscious Left Foot which is out now. "You Ain't No DJ" is available to download now from Amazon.co.uk and iTunes.

Rihanna – Only Girl (In The World)

43454, NEW YORK, NEW YORK - Tuesday August 10 2010. Red-headed Rihanna leaves her hotel and heads to Emilio's Ballato restaurant in Manhattan. Later in the day, Rihanna returned to the East Side Ink Tattoo salon where she reportedly had an inscription tattooed on the left side of her neck which her current beau, Matt Kemp, had helped her chose. Rihanna's back with a new hair do and some new music. "Only Girl (In The World)" is the first song from her forthcoming album, Loud, which will be released later this year. I can't help but notice the similarities to the  "Sexy Chick", even though Stargate produced "Only Girl (In The World)" and David Guetta produced "Sexy Chick". Either way this is gonna be big, when released.

Collaborations like this are always welcome; Mary J Blige, Busta Rhymes and Gyptian. Three artists from three different genres, R&B, Hip Hop and Reggae, collaborating to produce a piece of music that they otherwise probably wouldn't have been able to on their own....More Fiya!
